We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about our family to help you get to know us a little better. We are Dr. Jeffrey and Callie Nix.

We have a small farm located in Dayton, Tennessee.  We have 3 horses, 2 cats, 5 dogs, a Bearded Dragon, and have even tried our hand at chickens (thanks to my son's 4-H project) and Texas Longhorns.  My wife and I have raised 2 children but now the kids are grown , with one of them already off to college and the other not far behind.  Maybe we are preventing "empty nest syndrome".....

Dr Nix owns 2 small animal practices, one in Dayton, South Rhea Animal Hospital , and the other in Soddy Daisy, TN (Sequoyah Animal Hospital). Dr. Nix's special interest  is in surgery, especially orthopedic procedures. Callie is the bookkeeper for the hospitals and is the principal owner of TEPHILLOT DOBERMANS. Callie obtained her first Doberman while in High school and has always had a passion for Dobermans, but her other dog is a precious Yorkshire Terrier named Dallas.
